Spanish duo eye top Celtic target Niemi

Gordon Strachan's bid to bring Antti Niemi to Celtic is in danger of being hijacked by Spanish clubs. Strachan has targeted his former Southampton No.1 as a priority signing but he could lose out to Villarreal or Espanyol. Former Harts ace Niemi's agent, Richar Cody, said: 'I am hopeful there will be some movement this week because clubs are now beginning to get back together.
'Antti is keen to have his future sorted out as soon as possible but he has an open mind about where he will play.
'He has a lot of respect for Gordon Strachan and would have no hesitation in going back to Scotland but we now have serious interest from Spain'.
Villarreal are about to lose Jose Reina to Liverpool while Espanyol's Belgian No.1 Erwin Lemmens will quit the club at the end of this current contract next month.

però per a que un altre porter? jo crec que amb Barbosa i Vallejo ja tenim prou...i de moment, encara que se suposa que se'n va, encara tenim a Reina...
Però el que he dit, amb Barbosa i López Vallejo, i si en algun cas excepcional fa falta, algú del Vila-real B...al meu entendre n'hi més que suficient.

el celtic esta por fichar el portero del Southampton que se llama Antti Niemi, pero que el jugador esta interesado en el futbol español de donde tiene ofertas del Villarreal y el Espanyol.

com ha de fitxar el villarreal a este porter? té 33 anys i acaba de fitxar a barbosa. seran més rumors típics d'estiu.

PD: el villarreal ha fitxat al porter alberto garcía del sant andreu (que acaba de pujar a 2a B).
